Sausage Rolls

1/2 lb. of sausages
1/2 lb. of flaky pastry

1. Pepare a hot oven (450 F)
2. Pepare the pastry
3. Remove the skins from the sausages.
4. Roll out the pastry to about 1/8 in. thick and cut into oblong pieces. Damp the lower edges, place a piece of sausage on each, fold over a press firmly together.
5. Glaze with egg, decorate the edges and make three or four slits on the top surface with a sharp knife.
6. Place on tray and bake near middle of oven for about 30 minutes.
